I must admit I’ve never really understood abstract art before, but looking at that I can see the forest and the pond, even the reflection of the forest in the water. Interesting!
Well, I have to admit that it is not totally abstract. I like my paintings to have some reference to nature. To me, the most interesting “area” to paint in is the line in between abstraction and representation. I want it to represent something (here the pond) but be open to different interpretations (thus the abstract part). So whatever you are seeing or think you see is valid. I see you like music… I think painting is like visual music.
