Oh thanks, Marty. I think that the Alaskan wilderness is a painter’s dream. The distances/landscapes and the wildlife are jaw droppingly magnificent. But, I must get my head back to the midwestern flatlands soon : )
good reminder, that painting the same subject again reveals a gain in confidence, a more eloquent shorthand: the breeze is stronger, the trees more lively on the second take.
