I like this very much. Normally I hate grey but here, it just fits. She’s walking in that garden, lost in her own happy thoughts, oblivious to the world around her. Wonderful painting, Anita.
Patricia, thank you so much for all your recent comments. They are really appreciated. You know, I’m not crazy about grey in general either. But, sometimes it really helps to just leave out the color and focus on composition, light, movement of the brush… I guess I could do studies in charcoal, but it’s not really the same. I have a feeling that I will do a variation of this in color. Have a great day. Best, Anita
