I used Williamsburg Graphite Grey and a bit of Portland Grey light by Gamblin. The Graphite grey is a cooler grey than the other. The light areas aren’t white paint but actually the gesso layer exposed.

Just got this years Portland grey (or torrit I guess is what they call it now) and I am loving it!! Your work is, again, very inspiring.
I believe the torrit grey is actually different from Portland grey. At my Blick art store they sell them both. And Portland grey comes in light, medium and dark. Glad I can be of some help to you. Best, Anita
